Welcome to the Ghana Initiative for Valued Education web site.
FEDERAL I.D. 26-3243821

Ghana Initiative for Valued Education (GIVE) was founded in 2006, as an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with no salaries or administrative expenses paid from donations. Our mission was simple; provide educational opportunities for children in Ghana, West Africa, through the construction of classrooms and scholarship awards. Today, students continue to learn in our classrooms and since 2010, GIVE has awarded 684 scholarships ranging from elementary school to university.

As we end our work in Ghana and say goodbye to GIVE; we are grateful to all who gave their time, their goods and services, their art, their money and perhaps a little bit of their hearts to help us change some lives.

On behalf of the GIVE Board of Directors in the United States and Ghana, but especially from the families whose sons and daughters have attended school as a result of your generosity, WE SINCERELY THANK YOU.

Students representing a number of schools in the Ada Foah area line up for the 2017-18 GIVE Scholarship Awards Program. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Dickson Agyeman (front row left with GIVE shirt) and his staff with the Ghana Wildlife Division for their 16 years of support. Our work in Ada Foah would not be possible without their help.

Please join the GIVE Family and our Supporters in extending our condolences to the Baker family and friends. Mrs. Elizabeth Baker was our Director Emeritus and a tireless advocate for GIVE and our work in educating Ghana's young men and women. Without her support over the years our work would not have been possible.

GIVE awarded 49 scholarships in 2017-18.
